Storm Target delivers the alerts you need, audibly, letting you focus on the storm. While Storm Target is geared towards storm chasers, many will find its features useful.
Automatic Retrieval
You define the products you’re interested in and how often you want the program to check. Storm Target does the rest by polling the National Weather Server for all updates matching your criteria.
Proximity Alerts
While you can select states, counties, and weather offices you’d like alerts for, you can also tap into your existing GPS connections to deliver proximity alerts. Simply set the radius in miles you’re interested in and Storm Target will deliver alerts only within that zone. This allows chasers to stay mobile without worrying about adjusting alert settings.
-mail Alerts
Alerts that you specify can be emailed to you automatically. This feature adds flexibility to the product allowing you to get alerts away from your machine, set up an alert server, log alerts, or aid in posting alerts to social media.
Exportable Alerts
Alerts can be exported to text or wave audio format allowing you to use them in any way you see fit. Listen to them in our program or use them in a different application. It’s all the same to us.
Text to Speech
Using a specially tailored speech lexicon, Storm Target gets more words and acronyms correct than most Text-to-Speech applications. In addition, you have the power to cutomize how words are pronounced giving you complete control of this feature.
Target Validation
Storm Target helps you decide on a target location for your next chase by allowing you to view where your fellow chasers will be setting up that day. This unique feature can help you avoid costly trips to no mans land by helping you validate your target. By sharing your target location you are then allowed to see all other user’s target locations for that day.

Need to know when the front has passed? Would you like to be alerted when a location reaches a specified temperature? Storm Target is your solution. You can create custom rules based on weather conditions from over 2,000 stations across the US. No more guessing where the front is or continual checks to various weather sites. An intuitive interface guides you in creating simple but effective logic rules that scan for changes and alert you when they occur.
